Student Comments:

“I liked being able to have class discussions on sports in the real world. It felt like being in the real world and not like some classes that you just sit there and learn. It was very interactive which was amazing.”

“I loved this class because it included real–life application of the material with guest speakers and activity days.”

“Mrs. Blakey covered numerous aspects of sports tourism and presented the information in an accessible manner. She also incorporated interactive learning which gave more real world experience.”

“The instructor made it her mission to provide all materials needed for students to succeed.”

“I love Mrs. Blakey! She is one of my favorite teachers that I've had at UA and I'm sad that I only had the chance to learn from her in my last semester of college. She is fun and energetic and her passion for the subject and for teaching shows. I would recommend her to teach many more sports–related classes.”
